We pride ourselves on being the ultimate drinks partner for our on-trade customers, offering exceptional wines, industry-leading availability, unparalleled data and insights and local service, seven days a week, via our nationwide network of Majestic stores.

Focusing on the right customers

Majestic Commercial specialises in servicing Independent Free Trade businesses – either single-venue or regional groups of gastropubs, bars, restaurants, hotels and other hospitality venues.

Our nationwide network of more than 200 Majestic shops double up as micro-fulfilment hubs, allowing us to efficiently and effectively service venues from Falmouth to Falkirk. Around 90% of all Majestic Commercial orders are now serviced by the teams in our Majestic shops, via their own dedicated delivery vans.

We therefore focus on serving hospitality businesses that operate within 10 miles of a Majestic store – a market that represents a £300m slice of the UK’s £3bn on-trade wine market.

Majestic’s multi-award-winning buying team continues to evolve and enhance our dedicated on-trade offering, with a focus on quality, unique and exclusive wines. The Majestic Commercial portfolio has grown rapidly since 2020, with a curated selection of more than 1,300 wines, including 350 on-trade exclusive products that you cannot purchase through any other UK distributor, or in our Majestic stores.

Our growing stable of partners includes Provence rosé specialists Peyrassol, family-run Henri Ehrhart in Alsace, and Italian estates Valiano and Torre Mora.

Local service, data and insights

At Majestic Commercial, we often refer to our network of Majestic stores as our superpower, which no other UK distributor can replicate. With more than 200 shops across the country, our on-trade sales managers draw on customer sales data to give our hospitality partners unique, real-time insights into what people in their catchment areas are drinking, and at what time of year. As a result, we help our partners curate highly-tailored wine lists, personalised to the tastes of their target customers, helping them drive profitable sales.

Our store estate also means that our on-trade customers have access to our highly-educated Majestic colleagues seven days a week. Whether they run out of rosé on a sunny Saturday and need to top up at short notice, or they want advice on what new products they should be adding to their festive drinks menu, our expert teams are easily accessible, with no need to waste time on a customer service telephone line.
